Kickstarter: Launched!

A letter to the ENTIRE WORLD from bass player and all-around-good-guy Dan J. Scott:

Today is a great time to be our band! We’ve got great musicians, a great EP with great songs, great fans, and a great residency at Gluek’s downtown. Honestly, things are going pretty damn well. However, America is all about progress. You know, upward mobility and such. So, what do you get the band who has everything?

A full-length album, naturally! More great songs for our great fans to enjoy in their great ears. What could be wrong about that?

Okay, step back a second. Remember when I sad we had everything? I meant everything except the money it takes to record a full-length album. We don’t actually have any of that.

But don’t worry, there’s a simple solution: You! We’re asking for your help to fund our upcoming album. Our producer, Mike Marston, has agreed to help us out a lot, but there’s still ground to cover. That’s where you come in.

Yesterday we launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $3,000 to pay for creating and marketing the record. Contributions starting at $5 will get you a pre-order of the album, and larger amounts can get you t-shirts, art prints, and other unique rewards, including a private performance by the Lost Wheels!

So please help us take our band to the next level by heading over to our Kickstarter project page, checking out the video, and backing our project.

Thank you so much for all your support so far, and for your help on our next adventure.

Rock on!

Dan J. Scott and the Lost Wheels
