The Lost Wheels to Perform at Military Family Tribute Dedication Ceremony – June 13, 2015
We are deeply honored to be asked to write and perform a brand new song which we have titled “Letters“ for the Military Family Tribute Dedication Ceremony occurring at the Minnesota State Capitol Mall on Saturday June 13, 2015. The dedication ceremony is free and open to the public!
Dedication Ceremony Details
WHAT: A newly-constructed complex on the Minnesota State Capitol Mall will be dedicated in honor of the families of all military service members-The MinnesotaMilitary Family Tribute (MFT)
WHERE: In front of the Veterans Services Building between the Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Korean War Memorial
WHEN: Ceremony is on Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., featuring the debut of a new song written in honor of military families by The Lost Wheels; entertainment and vendors from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., including country artist Rockie Lynne at noon, and the Steele Family at 1 p.m.
We’ll have live entertainment by national recording country singer Rockie Lynne, who will perform many of his songs written and dedicated specifically for our military and their families; local sound legends, The Steeles, and Jearlyn Steele, who’ll perform one of the best renditions of our National Anthem that you’ll ever hear; and a new song being introduced, written and performed in honor of the Tribute by The Lost Wheels! Plus you can have your photo taken in a photo booth with The Traveling Photo Booth, or have the kid’s painted! Food trucks will be on site with food available for purchase. Motorcycle parking is available on John Ireland Blvd. across from the Capitol Mall.
WHY: The Military Family Tribute will be located at the State Capitol Mall in St. Paul and will forever stand as a personal thank you to each spouse, significant other, child, parent, grandparent, sibling and any other person a member or former member of our U.S. military defines as family who provides the true foundation of support to our military personnel.
